Are psychic powers most a form of brain damage?

The story of a guy who gains psychic powers in a car accident, and is made to join an investigation agency called LOCK and partner up with another guy (who very much DOESN'T want to be his partner) to investigate various cases dealing with supernatural activity. Hardly deep and very episodic, it's still a rather fun series I enjoyed quite a bit. The attraction is indeed the characters, also not very deep themselves, but very charming, and tend to attract fans despite the complete mediocrity of the rest of the plot ^_^; I didn't have much interest in the cases in this particular volume, but it was fun watching Nanaki and Ao figure out how to get along and cooperate (or decide whether they even really wanted to or not ^^), and did end up anticipating the next volumes, wondering how things would change between then as it went. The art is pretty-with-a-shounen-slant as always with Saenagi, the characters looking similar to those from her other series, but still very nice looking.
