For fans of Higuri...

If you liked reading her manga's and such, you will probably enjoy her artbook as well. Most of the pages are full-page colored illustrations from her own work .There are mainly Seimaden and Ludwig with a smaller amount from her other works.
The thing that strikes me the most about her work is just how detailed it is. She uses a lot of fine lines for texture, especially in her Ludwig pieces. It almost makes me wonder if she even really drew the textures or used Computer Graphics to fill it in. At the same time though, the texture lines aren't perfect, there are some kinks which lead me to believe that she did draw them by hand rather than computer. Also, her use of color is wonderful, soft but subtly brilliant but that is to be expected from some of Higuri's caliber. There is one two-page illustration depicting a demon on one page and an angel on the other page. Whenever I see it I think, "Was there some CLAMP influence here?" It reminds me of something CLAMP would draw for X/1999.
Great work

This arbook have mixture of angels and bishonen demons illustrations in a variety of poses. Later you move into what appears to be a renaissance period with kings and queens and finally into a more contempory setting. Her artwork is beautiful but I like more the Kaori Yuki artbooks.
