Sugar Coat is one of those artbooks you can't put down. I spent a good portion of the afternoon staring at the detail and beauty of Minekura's art. I love her technique and form...these boys are looking GOOD! The additional CD-ROM is an added bonus, because now you can have wallpapers decorate your desktop. All-in-all, this is one of my best purchases. Completely worth every penny!

The essential first for the WA/Araiso fan!

If you're an avid fan of WA/Araiso this is the first artbook you should get in your collection! This features early WA/Araiso art, somewhere connected along manga volumes 1-3, plus some extras! One of Minekura's best artbooks ever released.

Please take note that this should also include a CD-ROM with WA/Araiso goodies like wallpapers and icons.

a must! Must! MUST! ^_~

This artbook is a must for any Araiso/WA fan's.
It's a must for any Minekura fans...
This is just a MUST books as far as this devoted fan is concerned!
It starts with full colour WA images, then goes on to Araiso, finishing off with a few misc images that always seem to seep into Minekura artbooks.
If it's one thing I've learned, you can never be disappointed with any of Minekura's artbooks!
As the other reviews have stated, there isnt much variety, but it was published in the early day's of WA, and I hope that another artbook is released in the future, but until then, this book is the one to own, and a pleasure to do so!

(as a side note, there are very very early WA/Araiso images in Backgammon, one of Minekura’s first artbooks ^_~)

I have all the Minekura Saiyuki artbooks and though this was another expensive title, I couldn't resist. Yes, it might tend to get a bit repetitive showing the same two guys over and over again, but what can I say? My eyes love pretty guys. Based solely on the artwork alone, a book well worth adding to your collection. If you love W.A. and Araiso, then this is an absolute MUST! Kubota and Tokito are drop-dead sexy and two of my absolute favorite Minekura characters. A must have!!

This book is dedicated to Wild Adapter and Araiso, the other 2 manga titles from Minekura. It's a really good book, but I feel it's a bit not as good as the other Sayuki books. The reason is because there is not enough variety of characters in these 2 series, so the pictures for Wild Adapter for example features the two main characters, and while they're truly good a bit more variety would make the books much more appealing. However this is a must for any fan of the 2 series, as this is the only book that features pictures from those series.
