THe love story of Yuuen and Emba. I don't write about the plot because other reviewers had writen it.
The artwork of Takashima-sensei its hot and perfect. I have fall in love with emba a few times *_* I love him. The cover its very beautiful and I like the plot too. The manga includes a oneshot of the love story betwenn Emba and yuuen 's fathers. Beautiful too ^^! The last pages its a parady of the moment when Emba saves Yuuen, Very funny!
If only cave men really looked this good..

This is a classic point blank. One of my all time favourites. Hot cavemens (or at least that's what they look like...) gorgeous artwork and a dainty uke boy...I never wanted to go back in time this far more than while reading Wild Rock. Great!

Really good story about two different clan of prehistoric men. Yuuen, who is the son of the chief of the first clan is really bad at hunting and men doing, of course his morphology is to be thin and girly. His father sent him after Emba, the son of the other clan chief.Emba is strong and the best hunter of all. His duty is to make him believe that yuuen is a woman for emba to fancy him and give him hunted prey. But yuuen fell un love with emba little by little and is desesperate to lie to him. So he decide to stop doing that but emba is now in love with him ANd dont want to let him go...
Great story and more of all, great artwork!!!

This manga by Takashima Kazusa is gorgeously drawn and the backdrop, prehistoric times, is unique in the world of boys love comics. It follows the sweet love story between Emba and Yuuen, members of two different tribes. It also includes a one-shot about the surprising encounter between their fathers, Selem and Yuni.

Ok, this is my favorite Takashima work so far, because first of all its story is absolutely original. The art is fantastic, the characters are lovable and best of all, the sex scenes are so tender and hot at the same time.
I mean, who can't fall in love with two gorgeous looking cavemen having sex?? Very recommendable!
Main pairing here is Enba x Yuuen, but it also has a short story named Innocent Lies, pairing is Selem x Yuni (I won't spoil who they are, must read!).

For me, the best manga of year 2002, I love Takashima Kazusa sensei's works very much. The story is well imagined and the art is absolutely skilful. The theme of this manga is original, and I don't see it anywhere else. The main couple "Enba & Yuuen" is very cute. Why ask more ? Highly recommended !

Takashima Kazusa is a wildly original artist, and Wild Rock is no exception. At first the concept seems a bit too strange, but the imaginative art and story soon convince the reader to sit up and take notice of Takashima's craft. The characters are endearing, the plot somewhat predictable but still quite nice, and the extra stories quite lovely on their own. A master work from a wonderful mangaka.

Takashima Kazusa really is an awesome artist. She's got a great style, and awesome technical ability. So naturally, Wild Rock is a beautifully drawn yaoi manga. And it gets points for originality... native/cavemen yaoi. You can't beat leopard print loincloths. The two stories and omake featured in there are also sweet.
